New Style Labeltrace for Vision, EMIS, Synergy and Exeter etc.

While LabelTrace^® has also been used enthusiastically by non GPASS practices, we have never made any secret of the fact that it was not as elegant a product as it might be. So anyone using Vision, EMIS, Synergy or Exeter systems should be delighted with the new style LabelTrace^®. The days of synchronising an external database and looking up patients again in order to print labels are (hopefully) numbered.

We have been working with all clinical system suppliers to introduce a version of LabelTrace^® fully integrated and available directly from the consulting screen. This is already working with Vision and is being piloted in a number of practices in Wales.  We hope to have completed the integration with the other systems soon, though timescales are dependent on the suppliers! As of 4/11/04, We have practically completed work with Vision, Synergy and Protechnic Exeter systems. Work with EMIS PCS is underway and we hope to have this substantially complete for the end of November. EMIS LV will be addressed in approx 6 months, as resource at EMIS permits. Meanwhile, for EMIS LV users, we can offer our file-integrated version of LabelTrace^® which has a similar look and feel for users. This version of LabelTrace^® will be provided to existing users in Scotland as a free upgrade. How it is to be rolled out out is yet to be determined. We hope that in fact it will be possible for practices to install the system themselves, which will be the fastest, simplest approach.
